Our client, a well-established financial services firm in the Denver Tech Center, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team. This is a hands-on role with strong exposure across the full accounting cycle, working closely with leadership in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own key parts of the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations
• Support financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP
• Work within a specific ERP system to manage and maintain accurate financial data
• Assist with audit support and coordinate with external auditors
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure proper reporting and controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-6+ years of accounting experience (financial services experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
• Experience working within an ERP system (experience with a large/structured ERP preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
